I looked at the distance, which was not that far from me. In the faces of the people surrounding me, my CAMP friends, and my CAMP familia, I saw hope in the future--I saw the power of change.

As I opened my eyes for the last time, I saw the city right in front of me. I quickly got up and admired the so-called famous New York City. I started to see it all: the taxis, the NYPD patrol cars, the tall buildings, and the pizza restaurants.

I got a Teams message from my supervisor. I opened the message up and it read 'invitation.' I looked at the other intern as she was reading it too. We were excited to see that we have been invited to attend a press conference with our congresswomen and other representatives about women's rights to reproductive healthcare.
