I have grown so much this whole summer. I am grateful for all the progress I have made professionally and personally. I have made so many friends and my network has widened.

My last meeting was with my Representative Jim Costa. I was going to do a photo shoot with him. He led me to his office and gave me a run down of all his portraits and his family. It made me feel great and more connected with my representative. He truly is amazing and I appreciate him taking the time to meet one of his constituents.

I was given the opportunity to speak on behalf of United Farm Workers at a press release, where Alex Padilla, Judy Chu, and many other passionate individuals would be at. Before this, I was practicing my testimony for the Asuncion Valdivia Heat Illness Fatality and Prevention Act. My testimony consisted of giving my farm work experience and emphasizing the importance of heat protection.
